MLM Opportunity Seekers – Are These Leads Worth Your Time?

When you buy a MLM opportunity seeker mailing list you are banking on the notion that the leads are already of high quality and pre-screened; all you have to do is call them, give them your speech, and they will join.  This is; however, the farthest thing from the truth.  An opportunity seeker lead list is not as high quality as you might think and they may actually begin getting annoyed that you are calling them.

The fact is those leads most likely completed a survey or questionnaire that posed a very generic question asking if they would like information about working from home or if they are interested in a home based business.  These leads may not necessarily be interested in an MLM opportunity.  There are many ways to earn money from home without having to do MLM.  So when you call these leads you will face rejection since they are not of great value and have no interest in the MLM industry.

Another reason the MLM opportunity seeker leads will not work is because they are sold to many people.  You are not the only one to have bought a list from the company and so the lead you call may have already received calls from several other individuals and are now becoming agitated with these repeated phone calls.  The fact that they are becoming upset at this automatically means that they are out of the market for joining your opportunity.  Those people on this lead list have now disqualified themselves since they are no longer listening to what opportunities might be offered to them.

Another thing that you may not be aware of the MLM opportunity seeker leads is that the people you would be contacting may not even be aware that they were placed on a list.  They probably filled something out or said it was okay to be contacted; however, they did not realize the full extent of what they were giving the okay to.

So having said all that, these opportunity seeker lists do work.  If you have great communication skills, know how to ask leading questions, and are able to close your prospect to buy you can have success.  The problem lies in the fact that this strategy takes a lot of hard work, persistence, as well as the ability to consistently handle rejection.  But if you dedicate yourself to this strategy you can have success in doing so.

Now, there are other more effective ways that you can go about building your MLM opportunity.  If you begin marketing properly you can actually begin generating your own leads.  These leads will come to you at a extremely high quality rate since you have already screened them based on  your marketing efforts.  Also, but creating your own list you are able to market to them whatever you would like at any time.  If done correctly you can actually profit from those on your list that decide to not join your MLM opportunity.  And lastly with generating your own leads, that is your list in which they asked to be a part of.  So you do not have multiple people contacting them so that they get annoyed and they with a high quality rating.
